For over 40 years Dhruba Tea Centre has been proudly serving its customers with the finest blends of tea, carefully selected to deliver rich aroma and authentic taste. Process of Tea Leaves Packaging
- Plucking: Fresh and tender tea leaves are hand-picked from the tea gardens.
- Withering: The leaves are spread out to reduce moisture and make them soft for rolling.
- Rolling: Leaves are rolled to break cell walls and release natural flavors and enzymes.
- Oxidation/Fermentation: (For black tea) Rolled leaves are exposed to air to develop color and aroma.
- Drying/Firing: Moisture is removed using heat to stop oxidation and preserve the tea.
- Grading: Dried leaves are sorted and graded based on size and quality.
- Cleaning: Any dust or foreign particles are removed to ensure purity.
- Packaging: Tea is packed in moisture-proof pouches, boxes, or tins to retain freshness.
- Sealing & Labeling: Each pack is sealed airtight and labeled with brand, weight, and details.
- Storage & Dispatch: Finished packs are stored properly before being distributed to markets.
